The team
A small team of senior practitioners. Every director has held operational roles inside the kinds of organisations we now advise, so you work with people who have sat where you sit.
You work with the people you meet, not a team you never see again.

Paul Radford
Co-founder & Director
Co-founder of PQ and a specialist in capital project governance, pre-approval readiness reviews and project health checks.
Paul spent five years benchmarking mining, minerals and metals megaprojects at Independent Project Analysis, held program and governance roles at BHP Billiton including the Olympic Dam program, and directed project support and assurance on Victoria's $4.3 billion Regional Rail Link. Through PQ he was Program Manager for the South Australian Government's Hydrogen Jobs Plan, Program Director for the South Australian Energy Plan, and has led programs and reviews for BHP, South32 and Evolution Mining. He also designed and facilitates the University of Sydney John Grill Centre's Executive Leadership in Major Projects program.

Paul Moody
Co-founder & Director
Co-founder of PQ and a strategist who works from the executive office to the front line, across resources, energy, aviation, education and the not-for-profit sector.
At BHP Billiton, Paul led project offices on some of the largest transactions in the resources industry, including the $120 billion iron ore joint venture with Rio Tinto and the attempted $40 billion acquisition of PotashCorp, and helped mobilise the delivery organisation for the Olympic Dam expansion. Through PQ he established EnergyAustralia's $300 million retail transformation program, built the delivery office behind Virgin Australia's $200 million technology investment program, and led transformation and ways-of-working programs reaching thousands of frontline leaders at BHP.

Ben Armstrong
Director
Director of PQ with a career spent inside and alongside capital-intensive organisations, helping them plan, decide and deliver on major investments.
Across more than a decade at BHP, Ben led the capital investment process and business evaluation for a global division, shaped the strategy that took BHP into potash and out of diamonds, built the commercial and governance operating system for the multi-billion dollar potash construction program in Canada, and delivered the valuations behind the $10 billion demerger of South32. Since then he has advised multinational and local companies across mining, resources, energy and infrastructure on investment decisions, governance systems and project delivery.
